Not to mention... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Wow, what a success! With 6 guests arriving at 3pm, the winter Holidays have now begun! This "thankful for friends" Thanksgiving was SO much fun! We grazed, ate supper, played Scattergories while digesting, then ate dessert, and played more Scattergories again! What a great time! The evening of 7 people lasted until 11pm roughly in a quaint 500 sq. ft. studio apartment. Goes to show you that good company is great regardless of your surroundings. I missed my family of course, but what a great time none the less!!! Thanks guys!

Presenting: Miss Clara Evelyn Elton...

Today I met my new, 6-day old niece and her name is Clara. She is absolutely perfect. It is so amazing feeling a new creature in your arms with so much life ahead of them. It makes the idea of new beginnings all too clear... Nice to meet you Miss Clara!

Life as a Flapper

This last Halloween was the never-ending rebellion of long hair, corsets, and driving slow. In costume 4 separate times, I dressed up as the rebel of the 20's a true-to-life Flapper Girl. It was a grand ol' time! In my black bug, and my black fringe dress with a black boa, it could not have been more fitting! GOOD TIMES!
